Comments/Description

Established in 1974, Sharjah English School provides quality primary and secondary education for English-speaking children between the ages of 3 and 19. The secondary section was established in 2005, when the whole school relocated to a new site.

The teachers are all fully qualified UK teachers and all are experienced in delivering an outstanding UK curriculum experience. The school offers an education based on the English National Curriculum. In Key Stage 4 GCSE’s are taught; the Sixth Form GCE AS and A Level courses are followed. Results throughout the school are outstanding.

Accredited with BSME and BSO, Sharjah English School has always obtained outstanding inspection reports, which can be viewed on the school web-site. The school has been particularly commended for its pastoral strengths, and the supportive and challenging learning environment it offers. It is, at heart, a community school with an inclusive family feel to it.

The school is situated on an attractive purpose built site adjacent to Sharjah University City and includes outstanding state of the art facilities and some of the most spacious sports fields in the UAE. All the buildings are fully air conditioned, light and spacious.

The school offers all that you would expect from a quality English school and is a popular school of choice for the residents of Sharjah, Ajman and the Northern Emirates, and is easily accessible from Dubai.
