Comments/Description

Sana’a British School is a non-profit making organization managed by a Board of Governors who are responsible to the parent body for the quality of education provided by the School. H.E the British Ambassador is the patron of the school and the embassy is represented on the Board of management. Members of the Board of Governors serve on a voluntary basis for a two year period.

Sana’a British School provides a quality education based on the British National Curriculum, for children of many differing backgrounds and nationalities. We have a strong family feel to our school, with students of all ages and nationalities demonstrating care and respect towards each other.

We are the only school to offer education from 2-18 on one site in Yemen. CORE SUBJECTS: English, Mathematics, Science, ICT FOUNDATION SUBJECTS: History, Geography, Art, Music, Physical Education. Also:- • Arabic (First and Second Language) • French (Modern Foreign Language to IGCSE). • Business Studies is also taught to IGCSE and A Level

After-school activities include: Art, Computers, Soccer, French, Needlework, additional Arabic, Cookery, Tennis and Swimming. All teachers are qualified; many are recruited from the UK and have extensive international experience in British Curriculum Schools. School structure: The school is divided into three separate sections: Early Years, Primary and Senior, led by Separate Heads of section. The sections are located in separate buildings on the same campus.
