The British School Kuwait of was delighted to organise and host the annual U13 BSME Games from Thursday 15 January – Saturday 17 January 2015. British schools travelled from Bahrain, Egypt, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and within Kuwait to compete at the event, with 300 students representing 12 schools for a weekend of sport, competition and fun.

Day 1 - Athletics

After international schools arrived on Wednesday 14 January, local schools greeted them on day one of the competition at the Kuwait Athletics Association stadium, Kaifan, on Thursday. Fantastic athletic performances were on show, with schools selecting their best students to represent them in these prestigious games. Schools were also invited to take part in a CrossFit session provided by CrossFit BSK, and were put through their paces by one of the only affiliated CrossFit schools in Asia.
After the sport was completed on day 1, students were treated to a visit to Kuwait’s most popular and famous mall, the Avenues, allowing for relaxation time and friendships to form.
