The Performing Arts Festival was hosted by Brighton College, Abu Dhabi . This year 58 students, 13 - 18 years, from 4 schools participated:
The theme of the festival this year was 1001 Arabian Nights which was aimed at celebrating the rich vibrancy and multicultural heritage of the Arabian Nights' Tales. The students performed a variety of devised physical theatre pieces which used the tales as a stimulus. The drama workshops and performances were facilitated by practitioners from Frantic Assembly theatre company in the UK. Workshops in drama, music and dance culuminated in a final performance to invited guests and delegates.
