BSME Schools that have undertaken a BSO Inspection and are authorised to offer NQT Induction and the Assessment Only route to QTS

In order for a School to offer:

• NQT induction and for this to be recognised as valid by the UK government, and / or
• the “Assessment Only” route to QTS to unqualified, graduate teachers

…… it must be a member of BSME (or one of the other four, approved bodies – NABSS, LAHC, FOBISIA and COBIS) and have successfully completed a BSO inspection. The school then has to work with an "appropriate body". The Buckinghamshire Learning Trust is such a body and is BSME’s preferred partner. Further details on each of these programmes may be found under the British Schools Overseas (BSOs) area in the left navigation.
